William van der Moolen

Professional in web content & digital design

Information designer, content architect and product manager with can-do attitude, strategic vision and designer's touch. Enjoys the Internet of Things, works in e-health and care.

I work as a content architect at ZorgDomein, the choice and collaboration platform for healthcare professionals. General Practitioners, paramedics and medical specialists use ZorgDomein and Boards on a daily basis to find, arrange, and provide care in a manner where patients stay properly informed and more involved in their own care process.

With a background in enterprise-scale organisations that struggle with vast content collections. I redesign navigation patterns and optimise vast content collections for employee portals, corporate intranet and public-facing websites to improve search engines, ease content and product maintenance. Experienced and everyday inspired working with mulitnational /off-shore development teams. I'm at my best at the intersections where users meet technology, content or web applications could use a designer's touch to simplify workflows and improve user experience, client adoption and business results.

As a designer by profession and care-giver in private life, I try to understand, ideate and prototype to get to a solution. My approach is hands-on and result-driven, as solutions that might become available tomorrow, won't help users that seek an answer today.
I graduated in Arabic languages. As technical writer I worked closely with the inventors of Wifi technology at AT&T/Lucent Technologies in Nieuwegein. I worked in food, publishing and as consultant supported many clients in finance, energy, government until I fell in love with care winning 2 editions of Dutch Hacking Health.
